  | Boy I'm glad I don't have a price on my head. I was just innocently walking along when I happened upon, well, it seemed like a full scale battle to me. I dived behind the nearest trash receptacle and watched the drama unfold. From what I could tell, a couple of thugs were trying to corner a bounty hunter. I knew she was a bounty hunter because she was wearing the colors of the galactic bounty hunter guild. Not always the smartest thing to do on a deserted street, but maybe she had just come from somewhere official. Anyway, she was holding her own with two of those compact J-scour 950's. Those babies sure do pack a punch, and they hold way more ammo than you would think.Who or what started the fight I couldn't tell, and even as I considered this I realized the shots had stopped and it was all over. The thugs, four of them, were sprawled across the alleyway and she was just standing there, guns smoking. She was waiting, but for what? Then I saw her head begin to turn as her cold, hard eyes swept the area, looking for more trouble before she moved out. I scrunched up as tight as I could and didn't breath. Satisfied after a while, she holstered the pistols and walked away, just like that. I hope I never see her again in my life. Hmm, I wonder what guns those thugs were carrying, finders keepers you know. |
