I love the reference to the original lore of St.Patrick and the way you intertwined the serpents' organic curves into the formal design. It's a very creative and unique juxtaposition and a lovely piece of work. Lydia Thomas replies: "Thanks a bunch. This piece took a very long time to do and it was difficult to get it to look symetrical and correct. The snake was the funnest part to do. | 1 Oct 2007 | Sue | Loading...Whoa! Missed this one earlier. Wow. I really like it! Weaving a snake in the design probably wasn't too easy but you did an awesome job. The different shades and shadowing are very good. I really like this drawing. How old were you when you did this? | |
