This is a dancer in purple. Specifically purple because there are lots of other dancers in different colores: red, yellow, green, etc. She is a dancer for the god Carimna, who is the god of colors. Each dancer had an outfit that is different shades of their color with either gold or silver ornaments, usually gold. They are all women. Instead of the 'elements' there are the 'colors' of the world that everything is made of. The two head dancers are Black and White and the others are ranked thus: Green, Blue, Red, Brown, Yellow, and Purple. Keep your eyes peeled for more of this series!

Wow...I really like this one. Her legs are bit short but her stomach, torso, and breasts are all very well formed. Not to mention the cool idea behind it.

:-) Lydia Thomas replies: "Thank you, I actually started with them even shorter than that! I used myself as a model and I am only 5'3" and rather stocky, so thats why she isn't tall, slender, and long limbed. I really want to continue the series but I am soo increadibly busy it will be a while. Thank you for commenting."

I love her pose!! And you've coloured it great, lovely outfit ^-^

:-) Lydia Thomas replies: "Thanks! I think I could have done better, but I like it too, especially the hands. Thanks for commenting."

Her pose is nice, I agree. Proportionally a bit off. I think the waist is long again, also her arms are a bit short. Coloring is very nice though and she seems very fluid.

:-) Lydia Thomas replies: "Again, remember that her wiast is not the top of her clothes, its higher up. You might still be right, but the eyes can play tricks on you. Thank you for commenting!"

I like her outfit, it's very creative, purple is my favorite color, and I like the gold ornaments. Like the other people said proporion is oft. Her torso is too long and her limbs too short. I think both the arms and legs are too short. It makes her look unhuman, is that what you were going for?

:-) Lydia Thomas replies: "Arg!! Look at her waist! It is not at the level of her clothes! If you look at it that way the picture makes more sense. *Sigh* Also remember that she is short and stocky, not tall and thin, not everybody is tall and thin. I agree that her legs are probably too short and if the arms look short is because I did a bad job of foreshortening. They are not strait out but kindof angled. *Sighs again* Thank you very much for commenting though. I am very glad you like it. My next dancer (I'm in the process of uploading it) is tall and sleder."

I am really impressed with the shading, it looks so realistic.

1 Lydia Thomas replies: "Thank you very much, I do try, and it is encouraging to know that other people like my artwork."

I'm impressed all together!! I really like it!! I can't tell about porportions, but I think it's excellent. I know what you mean about the whole waist and torso thing. I mean, that's how I'm built, short and stocky. So, yeah, I get what it's like. Teehee.
