SciFi and Fantasy Art The Elven Wedding by Lydia Thomas

This was done for a friend of mine who wanted a wedding portrait of her and her husband. She didn't mind if I added elf ears and fairies, but she wanted to be wearing a proper wedding dress, and her husband, a tuxedo. So no cool elven clothes. Oh well. I hope you like it, I antagonized for a very long time over their faces and I'm still not very satisfied. And for everybody's information, marriage is between one woman, and one man. period, statement, declarative sentense, go back to the verb.....wait a minute...thats grammar kicking in. Anyway, I do not believe homosexuals have the right to marry. Ahem, flam me if you like, but be aware that I will argue with no one and I will not dignifiy any rude comments with an answer.

17 Aug 2006	Fantasy's best friend	Loading... aww this is sweet. nicely drawn too, i know i can't do it. and i agree with what you say: marriage is between one man and one woman. they hate me for not liking gay marriage too, but i stand by what i believe in. God created a FEMALE partner for the first man...not a male partner. fake ghetto voice keep it real yo. Lydia Thomas replies: "wow, thats a lot for the comment. Thats exactally what I believe and its nice to hear others agree with me. They yell at us for being intollerant and then they won't tollerate us. Well, thanks again and stay strong."

Lydia Thomas replies: "I thought they looked just a little bit fakey, and I didn't do the foreshortening very well, they don't look very 3-D. But thats all ok, I still like the picture overall. Thank you for commenting."
12 Sep 2007	Anonymous	Loading... your art is wonderful, I love your style. Too bad the light and love does not carry over to your politics. No mean intentions on my part, it just makes me sad. Love is so really and truly RARE... it should be cherished where ever it grows.
