T'ildareth was not happy. Not only had the king's advisor completely ignored her father's request that she be consulted before there were any changes made to the dragon caretakers, but he also chose the worst possible candidate for the post of chief overseer of the dragon aerie. T'ildareth had been telling her father, king Olbor, for ages that his advisor was useless, but for some reason Olbor was fond of him. Well, now she had to fix the mess that cursed advisor had created, and calm the nesting dragons on top of that after the ruckus that idiot overseer caused. Even a novice would know not to put two nesting mothers together in the same cave, they get suspicious that the other dragon is plotting to steal their eggs. It was all a mess and someone was going to pay. No T'ildareth was not happy at all.

Good pose! Working from a photographic reference (as you tell of in the description from the close-up) clearly adds to the stylistic realism and the level of details in your work. Especially that dress looks stunning! If you made that dress yourself, I quite envy your tailoring skills! 12 And the sepia tone adds a nice touch to the picture.

Great detail in the dress! More detail in the face would bring this drawing to life. The left hand's fingers look a little spiky but the right hand is done very well. Defined collar bones add depth to the drawing. You really ARE getting better. Glad I started at the top and went to the bottom so I could see how far you've come in a short time.

:-) Lydia Thomas replies: "Wow thanks Sue! This is one of my favorite drawings. About the face, I did that much, and just thought it was so perfect that I was afraid I would mess it up if I added any more. I think sometimes you get it just right with the simplest of lines. Thanks for commenting!"
