Working from a photographic reference (as you tell of in the description from the close-up) clearly adds to the stylistic realism and the level of details in your work. Especially that dress looks stunning! If you made that dress yourself, I quite envy your tailoring skills! And the sepia tone adds a nice touch to the picture. Lydia Thomas replies: "Thank you for the comment. Yes I will keep working on it, when I have time. "

Defined collar bones add depth to the drawing. You really ARE getting better. Glad I started at the top and went to the bottom so I could see how far you've come in a short time. Lydia Thomas replies: "Wow thanks Sue! This is one of my favorite drawings. About the face, I did that much, and just thought it was so perfect that I was afraid I would mess it up if I added any more. I think sometimes you get it just right with the simplest of lines. Thanks for commenting!"
