yeah i know. ive secretly decided not to go to Ai. Not just because everyone's talking about how pointless it is, but also because i think im going to abandon animation.

i never really wanted to be an animator. im just not aware of all the possibilities. our realtor would talk about her animator friends, and how they were unemployed. and her other friend is a successful designer of some sort who only had to take two classes at kwantlen.

for me she suggested costume design. i want to do EVERYTHING. oh the possibilities, lindz!

I completely agree with you about doing what you love even if it isn't the most lucrative avenue open. You have a lovely style and I hope you run with it. And about the Art Institute, I have a friend going there and he said it's gone completely to... well you know since it ceased as CDIS and was bought out by the Americans. I once thought about going there and have decided against it, instead i'm planning on going to Capilano for their IDEA program for illustration and design.

But anyway, stay creative and keep drawing and if you want this to be your career then I hope your hand is cramp-resistant cuz mine is killing me!
