3 Dec 2010	Green Phoenix	Loading... Nice use of contrast and bright colours, though on a technical note, her hands could be a little larger [palm length=face length) and her arms a little longer. Lindsey Sayles replies: "thankyou for your comment, i modeled myself for this painting which was a bit of an experiment and gamble as I know i’m not 100% perfect and in proportion and in fantasy alot of the figures are. I do have tiny hands and short arms but I also have short legs which you can’t really see in this painting. It’s a bit difficult as i like to pose for myself as I can get the exact pose as I want but perhaps a few tweaks would make it look more conventional for the benefit of the viewer."
