As for the onion bulbs, they really are the highlight of the picture---that is, they are fantastic. And well done on the realistic feel... now if there were only an Arabian Prince on the scene...

I like thise tho, except for a few bryce steriotypical effects Lynette Watters replies: "What are the stereotypical Bryce effects? When I did this I couldn't get my Poser figures into Bryce no matter what I tried, so when I needed them I put them in with Photoshop - not the best solution."

| 13 Oct 2003 | Emilie L van der Hoorn | Loading...Ohh, very nice...Yay bryce!! This is great, must have taken forever to get all the details, love the door and window frames. Anyhoo, a question: How did you get the bulbs too look like that...I can never seem to alter shapes so i'm allways stuck with the basic circle square thing...Help help help! Lynette Watters replies: "Hello. The bulbs took a while - what I did was (from memory - may not be exact) take a sphere set to positive, a long stretched out cone set to positive on top of the sphere, grouped and set the group to positive. Then I took a torus, set to negative and made it a LOT larger than the sphere and cone group, and edited its attributes so that the innder hole of the torus was quite small, and grouped it with the positive sphere-cone group. Get it? Than I did a lot of moving and resizing of the individual components to get it nice and smooth. The doors and windows are that same bulb grouping, set to intersect with a cube so that only a slice of the bulb appears. What I suggest is for you to have a look at a few of the boolean objects that come with Bryce in the "Create" menu, and see how they're put together to get a feel for making mor unusual shapes out of the standard sphere, cube, cone, etc." | |

The domes are nice, but more Russian in nature than Arabic.
