I've read your first two offerings - you have a very descriptive form of writing - I find it very rewarding. I'm not sure how much "technical" assistance I can offer - I have left comments in each for what I could.
It will be interesting to see where this story goes - you have started quite an impressive tale.

As soon as I can I'll start reading the two stories you have here so far, but I want plenty of time for them so I can rip them to pieces if need be (it sounds horrible, but it's just my way of giving meaningful comments). I might not be the person to spot grammatical errors or typos (although I occasionally notice things others just read over), but I do like to comment on PoV, voice, flow, credibility, etc...So if that's what you're after when you ask for technical comments, then that's what I can offer  Will be back hopefully this week...if I find time!
