Greetings and welcome to my corner of the woods, more like a mangrove that is. The mist parts to reveal bubbling mires and odly wonderful snakevine and imposing, skeletal trees. This is my realm , a realm where the wonderful, fantisful and beautiful can often be deadly. Hehe well my name is Jamison Madson, I am currently a resident in Alaska and that means plenty of time for artwork. I do a meriad of different picture subjects. Some favorites of mine include dragons(who doesn't like them?), gryphons, various creatures and characters of myth.Of course you'll also see a number of works from me based of of some favorite fantasy series, seeing as I read a whole bloody lot hehe. Some of my favorite authors include C.S. Freidman, Robert Jordan, Barbara Hambly, and of course J.R.R. Tolkein. Feel free to comment on my work, requests are welcome when time is in excess.Oh goals, well this is simple enough, I hope to be doing commission and freelance work within the time of a year.As well, all money accumulated will go to my schooling at the Acadame of Arts in California. Of course that's not until the fall symester 2004 which should give me plenty of time to work on my tecnique. Well enough about me, enjoy. Update 02/15/04: Wow do I ever hate dealing with computors and just havn't been about to update. But here I am again and I thank those that commented while I was away. I have managed a few more peices and am as allways trying to improve upon my technique. I have been rather busy though with moving and my permanent location should be sunny California again in a month. Lucky me I'll be able to start school really soon and I look forward to it. I've been working mostly on miniatures painting for the gaming hobby and have made a profitable business out of it since I really don't plan on working during school. Pardon the lack of a slue of new work but I have uploaded two peices that I think were rather strong. Shandris Mahal, and guinther the diseased a wererat assassin. I hope you enjoy what you see. See you all around the woods. Jamison

okies, now that ive commented on half your pieces, im just gonna say that its all, good, and keep going! I cant wait to see more!

1 Jamison D. Madson replies: "I thank you for all your supportive commenting as well Marie. As to your question about mediums in use , I do mostly ink and illustration work. some of the watercolor esk drawings are ink drawings with dilluted ink that I apply with the brush. Kudos on a great beginning gallery as well. Again I thank you for the time you took to look through and comment on my drawings; it's a big ego stroke hehe."

Every single piece in your gallery is stunningly fantastic. The detail! You must have a lot of time to spend on your art to produce such great work. Big amounts of impressedness radiating in your direction!

12 Jamison D. Madson replies: "Thank you. Times definetly not lacking for me at the moment hehe, but when I start school again I try to improve by incorperating fantasy into my school work though my last art instructors wished to ring my neck for it. So yeah, if I don't have time I try to make it."

Very rarely do I look and enjoy an entire gal. I am trying to improve on my inks and comming here has helped a lot...

1 Jamison D. Madson replies: "Thank you for your supportive and flattering comments Kevin. Ink is probably one of my favorite mediums because it lends itself a challenge to render different values. I'm happy your inspired to do more ink work, it may be time consumming but It's definetely a most rewarding media for me."
