| 14 Nov 2002 | Howard faria | Very good with the pencils! But i also think you're good with color too! You have an interesting coloring "style"! Marie 'Mim' Efverstedt replies: "Thanks! Well, I always strive to better my coloring. Still do." | |
| 20 Nov 2002 | Angeline'Angi-Chan' Mauri | Great pencil work and fantasy subject matter. Your compositions are great! love love love! Marie 'Mim' Efverstedt replies: "Thank you! And I love your pics as well, bookmarked your page a looong time ago." | |
| 26 Jan 2003 | Erik Tostevin | I really like your pictures, the shape in your drawings are very definite, which is indeed a good thing. One thing I might suggest, (something I need to start doing), is drawing more elaborate backrounds. One thing you could do is sit outside and draw random things, like trees. You can draw trees easily by using negative space around the edges and in between leaves. Just little things like that make up a great picture. If you can get a hold on that, your talent will bloom even more. Aside that, I enjoyed what I saw in your gallery. Keep it up! Marie 'Mim' Efverstedt replies: "Thank you for the encouragement and constructive critics, just what I need! I know my backgrounds are non-existing, and I try to work on it, but when I get that far I'm often bored with the pic and just stop... *sigh* But I've started to get at this problem from another angle, I simply put the pic aside for a few days and then start again. Let's see where that will take me. ;0)" | |
| 19 Feb 2003 | Kat Harp | Lovely work! I especially like your long-haired men. Veeeery pretty ^_^. Keep drawing! (and writing!) Marie 'Mim' Efverstedt replies: "Thank you! Yeah, I kinda have thins thing for long haired men. Keyl, Vinceinet, Arlon, the Elf brothers... Saw the Chippendales a while ago, guess who I liked?!" | |
| 13 Apr 2003 | William A. Clayton | Your gallery has quite a classical feel to it. I thought "Ethan and the Morning Sword" to be reminiscent of "The Song of Roland", alot of emotion in that work. The "Butterfly Fields" is worthy of a song, so light and uplifting. All of your Art is wonderful. Marie 'Mim' Efverstedt replies: "Wow! Thank you! Your kind words brought a big smile to my lips. I haven't heard 'Song of Roland', I'm afraid, but you made me curious. And as I dropped by your gallery I realized I had been there before. I love your 'Chapel of three roses'. The legend of Arthur has always fascinated me." | |

| 4 Sep 2003 | *~*Me*~* | I Loooooove your artwork!! By the way... curiosity may have killed the cat, but satisfaction is what brought him back.. beautiful faerie.. Marie 'Mim' Efverstedt replies: "Thank you! Your welcome back to enjoy any pic or update when ever you want! And pointers and critics are always helpful and welcome too." | |
| 15 Sep 2003 | Theolvar | Others have probably said the same thing but I wish you would post the story your writing about the characters in this gallery, your artwork is superb by the way Marie 'Mim' Efverstedt replies: "Thank you! Good to hear someone wants to read them, I'll let post an 'alert' here to let ya'll know when and if they pop up here or at my site. The one about Vincent and Taylor is currently undergoing a few changes and rewrites so that'll take a while, but there are others at my site to keep you busy meanwhile http://www.moonriddler.com :0)" | |
| 2 Apr 2004 | Marcus 'KAMO' Olausson | Hej och tack för kommentarerna i mitt galleri! Your art is very good and you have a great sense for the human anatomy. Just work on the backgrounds and it will get even better. I had a peek at your homepage and liked the design very much and I also took a look at your story and must say it seemed to be very well written and in very good english as well. Good luck! | |
