Lúthien Linwë and her guard found him roaming in the woods of Faelivrin, gagged and maimed, near death. He was forbidden to utter any words for his voice is so powerful he would deafen anyone with a whisper and cripple their minds. Though of elvisn constitution, Elrohir Carnesîr is more than he apears; in his mind, visions of the future haunt him, for he sees only iniquity and evil events to come. For others’ and his own safety, he lives in seclusion, in sole company of Silmarwen, his bethroded, being visited only by Lúthien Lúinwë and her entourage, who protect and harbour him. Never known to anyone but himself, Elrohir Carnesîr’s visions are carefully recorded in several scrolls kept in sealed golden cylinders, which may never be opened, in fear of consequences brought by the knowledge of the future” Don't even ask me about this one...

Absolutely stunning; such detail and care went into this. I am totally taken aback. It is the little things that make this so good; I love the ?marble? columns; you can see the veins in the rock and you just know what it would be like in real life. The same goes for the hair.

It is a great drawing, but the story behind it confuses me because the names are from tolkien, but the story is not. Or am I losing my mind? In LOTR Elrohir is Elrond’s son and Luthien is his great great grandmother and is long dead by the time he is born.

:-) Ana Magalhaes replies: "Not related to Tolkien’s character at all. It’s unfair to ’steal’ the name, but I got it from an automatic name generator. (yes, I know it’s lame). This fellow has a story of his own."
