Heya, everyone! Welcome to my stack of okay-enough-to-be-seen goodies!
I'm only mildly crazy, I love to read and write, and I'm tremendously interested in foreign cultures. I want to publish books at some point in my life, so constructive criticism is more than welcome, especially on the stories that are as-of-now without crits. If you like my stories: great, let me know. And if you don't: great, let me know. Tell me your opinion (intelligently, please) and I'll give you the same courtesy. I'm a perfectionist; I hope you understand what that implies.
Thanks for stopping by! I hope to see you again!

FURTHER UPDATE (6/2/09):
As one of the original Elfwooders, I must admit that I am suprised and pleased by most of the changes taking place. I apologize that my story pages don't seem to be formatted properly--there is a rather large blank space at the bottom of each one. I sincerely hope this formatting problem fixes itself. If not, I may fix it later on (if I can figure out the new system--I'm quite fond of HTML and I don't think this system implements it). We shall see. Thanks again!
UPDATE:
In case the obvious isn't obvious to all: I've been taking a break from Elfwood for a bit. I'm still writing, but none of it comes to the site because I'm protective of my babies, especially the ones who just don't feel quite right yet. In addition, I haven't been advertising my work as I used to (the best way to get comments is to give others a comment, I learned early) due to the break-taking, so people aren't reading and, honestly, I feel little obligation to actually write for Elfwooders. I wanted to thank everyone who has commented and given support, however. All of you are truly appreciated!
This does not mean I'm stopping writing for Elfwood; it only means that my break has been extended until I feel my stories are worthy of your eyes, or that they are desired. (Sequels are a no-go, by the way.)
Once again, thanks so much and God bless!! Sayonara!

And, since you’re so good at writing, mind visiting my library and giving me some tips and ideas? I’ve hit Writer’s Block with my novel, Fraught With Danger, and you’ve got a LOT of talent when it comes to writing about powers and such. Aubrey Lynn Anderson replies: "*checks ears for damage* Thanks for the compliments! I’ll stop by sometime and give you some suggestions, so be prepared. But as a preliminary goody, writer’s block is easiest avoided if you have multiple projects going at one time, that way you have room to skip around. Let things simmer a little and see if that helps!" | |
| 7 May 2007 | Laura A. Farrar | Loading...Just wanted to say thank you for recommending my stories to a couple of your friends! Aubrey Lynn Anderson replies: "Oh, certainly, my pleasure! I'm just awaiting your upcoming upcoming prequel-ish story to Dane and Althea... it IS coming, right?? *anxiousness*" | |

| 13 Jun 2007 | Emily A. Voss | Loading...he he he I can't belive the school hasn't blocked this yet. I'm glad. I hope they don't. ^-^ Aubrey Lynn Anderson replies: "They just haven't found it yet, so keep it on the down-low.... *giggle* I totally feel like a spy. A ninja spy. " | |
| 23 Jul 2007 | Mandy Burnham | Loading...Hey there Aubrey, don't know if you're still looking for a name for your tree... but I have a suggestiong--well three: *giggle* 1) Fern 2) Summer 3) Autumn ^_~ Aubrey Lynn Anderson replies: "Thanks Mandy, but I'm afraid I've been through those and others like Daisy and Lily and so on, without success. She's a rather picky tree, so unfortunately, she's still unnamed. But please lemme know if you get more ideas!" | |
| 22 Dec 2007 | Debbie Newcomb | Loading...Well, i posted the first bit of my novel. It's in three parts which will be segmented into bite-sized chunks so it'll probably take a loooooot of shelf space. ^_^ Aubrey Lynn Anderson replies: "Thanks for updating me! I can't guarentee a quick read--I'm so busy lately, but I'll leave a note-to-self for very soon." | |
