Tag As FavoriteComment		Yet another piece from my AP Art portfolio--something of a parody of DaVinci's Vitruvian Man. The 'text' doesn't say anything--'s completely made up, although for awhile I did try to make it look like Hindi. Then I sort of gave up and started putting down vaguely elvish script and, well, scribbles. Colored pencil on tea-treated paper.

Oh my gosh!!! This looks like SHIVA!!!(Indian mythlogie) I LOVE IT!!! THE WRITING IS AMAZING!!! There are no words to describe this!!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE MYTHLOGIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The last thing I am is an art expert, but how it looks tome, the techinique is totally great, too

Thats actually Shiva,as a Buddhist I can say this is well done but incorrect.

:-) Hope L Kodman replies: "Ooh, thanks for the correction, and you have a point--I even think I remember basing the pose off a statue of Shiva doing one of his cataclysmic dances. Or something similar. I'm pretty sure I've seen one of Vishnu's avatars depicted with blue skin, though. And of course, the whole thing was really just a function of the pun."

Very beautiful, like the blue skin and the hair, jewelry and arms holding their objects. You seem to be familiar with many relgions and mythologies. I find religion and mythology fascinating too.
