  | The Gypsy Queen was inspired by growing up in South America. I was always fond of the many folktales and stories told to me by my grandparents and others. I felt creating the gypsy would help me to express the magick and mystery I feel. Her alluring beauty wishes to enchant those who gaze upon her. She represents the mystery and magick of the feminine archetype. She is meant to remind us of the unimaginable beauty in life as well as the equal danger we may face. This enchanting, one of a kind Gypsy Queen was created entirely by hand over a strong wire armature (which runs clear through her fingers) with Prosculpt Polymer Clay. Her clothing is machine and hand sewn using quality fabrics. Her skin was carefully painted using Genesis heat paints. She has blue, glass eyes, handmade eye lashes, two glass bead bracelets, a crystal triangle necklace, a tiny golden ring, and golden earrings. I have taken great time to put as much detail into her as possible.. including painted fingernails and lips, sculpted boots and corset, beautiful black, quality mohair and a wooden base decorated in metallic leaf and sealed. Her clothing is adorned with Swarovski Crystals, tiny fabric roses and glitter. The Gypsy Queen along with her base stand 10 1/2 inches tall. Español : Esta muñeca unica en su clase " Reina Gitana'' fue creada completamente a mano sobre una fuerte armadura de alambre (la cual corre por sus dedos) con arcilla sintetica conocida tambien como arcilla de polimero (Prosculpt). Su piel fue cuidadosamente pintada con pinturas al oleo ''Genesis''. Ella tiene ojos azules echos de vidrio, pestañas echas a mano, brazaletes hechos con cuentas de vidrio, un coyar triangular de vidrio, un pequeño anillo y aretes echos a mano. Me he tomado el tiempo de poner muchos detalles, incluyendo uñas y labios pintadas, botas esculpidas y un corset unico, hermoso cabello negro de callidad (cabra angora), una base de madera decorada en dorado, su ropa fue decorada con pequeñas rosas y cristales de Swarovski. "Reina Gitana" mide 26 centimetros incluyendo la base. |
