| 5 Aug 2002 | Tiina Laakso | Loading...Hihi.. This fairy is adorable, really. ^_^ But I'm afraid I would probably throw a book towards it if it would fly somewhere near me, because it reminds me about a giantic mosquito. *giggles* Maja Andersson replies: "Hihi, well, I would probably do that myself... I got inspired to draw this when I found this freaky, gigantic insect lying on the floor. It was dead already, so I didn't need to throw a book on it. It wouldn't have been very nice to have to clean up the mess afterwards if I had done that... ^_^ Thanx!" | |

| 6 Aug 2004 | Marty | Loading...YOU ARE A FRICKING GENIUS!!! not many artists take this veiw of fantacy. many of them complain about how it "burdens" the art. but alternate evolution, and human confusion can be great inspiration for such things. the sprights in my imagination are just insects, but outside their exoskeletons is a layer of fatty tissue and skin, that makes them look like vertabrates. this is awsome! | |
