When the world was still young, when the ground still shook and the mountains were burning, a creature was born in the deepest of mountains. Of crackling flames and glowing stone it was formed, and it is now lying there waiting, for it's time to come. I've just experimented a little, entirely done in Photoshop. Oh, and that's his wing that he's lying under, btw... :P

Hey, nice name, Maja. 12

I love this piece. I was going through the recent updates and this turned up. I love it. I love the choice of colours you've picked. In the thumbnail, the creature doesn't actually show up very well, so imagine my delight when it jumped out in the large version !

Superbly done. Very smooth and flowing, warm and whimsical.

:-) Maja Andersson replies: "Well, your name isn't too bad either... 12Well, thankyou Maya! I may use this piece in a children's book I'm working at... So it isn't that ferocious, just a bit... surprised at suddenly being created! 12"

Oh, another great concept form the amazing Maja. He looks like a nice fello though. It looks like he wants to make friends the way he is looking at me *reachs out to pet the nice dragon* Ouch, is hot! *gobble*

:-) Maja Andersson replies: "Whatever you say, Jason, whatever you say... 12 *hands him a bucket of water to cool his presumably burnt fingers in*"
18 Sep 200245 The Gnu
Well, I commented enough on this piece this weekend, but I just wanna say that it still looks great. ^_^

As Maya said, the thumbnail looks kinda weird, but hopefully that won't scare off people. 12

:-) Maja Andersson replies: "Hihi, thanksie Gnu!!"

ehe, he looks so cute and mischevious under there... I wanna go play with him, but then... I think, he would eat me and spit out my bones... hm. Maybe I'll go play with one of your nice white horses instead, or maybe that nice boy with the grey hair... ^_-
