SciFi and Fantasy Art Resan till Melonia by Maja Andersson

Another of my childhood favourites! :) For those who do not live in Sweden or Norway, this is an animated movie directed by Per Åhlin. It's inspired by both William Shakespeare and Jules Verne.

It's about the last two islands in the world - the paradise island Melonia, inhabited by the wizard Prospero, his daughter Miranda and their friends. The other island is called Plutonia, and is Melonia's opposite. It is governed by two power hungry villains called Slug and Slagg who keep children as slaves on their island. They are now about to steel a powerful elixir from Prospero, to realize their plan to conquer Melonia...

Rather sloppy sketch and coloration, I know, but I found some old pencils and had some fun. ;D Choosing Resan till Melonia was just an excuse for me to use lots of colour... *grin* I love all the flowers and strange plants... (The magic albatross Ariel, William, Ferdinand and the Steersman.)

É uma pena que em meu país quase não tem desse filme para vende. Mas fica aqui o quanto eu gosto desse filme. Sorry don't put this menssage in english, but i don't know write well in english.
