George R.R. Martin is my new favourite fantasy author. :)

This is Lyanna Stark from Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire series. Not much is known of her, since she only appears in flashbacks, and there's a lot of speculation regarding her life (and death) among fans. The symbolism in this pic is based on a popular theory.

Read the books. ASoIaF is probably the best fantasy series out there.

Actually, I can't wait for Mr Martin to reveal the whole story - he's been teasing us with that doomed love triangle for years. Nice work with the symbols, too. I just wonder what that chain beneath the Baratheon stag means. Also - fantastic shading - but I think you're aware of that already.

23 Sep 2006	Oromis	Loading... I think that the chains underneath the stag of Baratheon suggest that she is bound to marry Robert since she is his betrothed, but the skull under the Targaryen banner represents her death with Rhaegar.
