SciFi and Fantasy Art Journey of the Night Princess by Annie Rodrigue

"In a far away kingdom, a princess was cursed by the moon. The moon decided it would follow her for all eternity. She tried to outrun the moon everyday, but never managed to do it on her own. She wanted so much to feel the heat of the sun at least one day of her life. On a nearby pond, she meets a beautiful swan who tell her she's the fastest swan in the kingdom. "If you ride with me princess, we will fly so fast that we will outrun the moon for sure!" And so the journey of the Night Princess begins..." 11x14 watercolor and ink on arches paper.

7 May 2008	David Michael	Loading... Wow, I believe that may actually be a unique story! Congratulations, I don’t see one of those too often. The picture goes along with it very nicely, with a proper fairy story feel. The soft blues/purples, gentle curving lines - they look like the illustrations on old children’s books, with their distinctive charm and imagination. And the waves, stylized as they are, actually seem to be moving. Very nice.
