	She's an elven princess, just turning around to try and speak while laughing, having a conversation with her brother. She lives a careless life, she's happy.. I'm quite satisfied with this one. I based it off a picture I took of myself (I don't mind me putting this online) and I like what I did with the hair. I think I'm improving with the faces, as she looks quite realistic to me.. Hmm..

Practicing from photo reference can be a really good way to learn, too. I have a huge amount of pictures drawn of myself as an elf, a vampire, a witch... Because with pictures of yourself, you always know no-one will mind of you play with them for a bit. For this picture, though, I think the background is a bit too white against the character. A light purple in the same hue as her clothes could have worked a little better, but that's just me. In any case, keep on drawing! I love seeing what you come up with. ^^ Maite A. le Loux replies: "Hmmmm, I think you're right about the background, but to be honest, I had spent quite a while on a picture that was supposed to be a doodle for me, and I didn't feel much like taking the trouble of making her a background And you're right, it's very nice drawing from a picture, rather than from the mind like I use to I tried drawing a profile from apicture and it went a lot better Thank you again for the comments! hugs"

I didn't manage to pull off the shine the actual picture had, but I think this one looks alright too I was quite satisfied with the chin myself, it looks like a chin "
