A picture of my character Eleanore, an Elven lady. She's wearing a purple dress I created, although it's a bit of a standard dress. I love how this worked out with the colouring and I especially like her hair myself. She looks a little manga-ish, but I just prefer to call it my own style. Again, Manga Studio Debut 3.0 and Photoshop 7.0

Her dress IS nice. 18 She looks very happy. Almost like she's happy all the time...

:-) Maite A. le Loux replies: "Thank you 1 And she does indeed look very happy, I'm very pleased with the result of that. She's usually happy, although of course there's some times..."

yay! omg, i love her hair! i think your style is awesome, the outline is all scribbly-like in its own messy/clean way, which makes it stand out. the pic is really...careless 10, i dunno, maybe i'm weird or something...but i always like careless pics best. thats what art is about as far as i know.

:-) Maite A. le Loux replies: "Heya there! Thank you so very much for the nice comment 2 If you're weird, at least you're the nice kind of weird, so you don't hear me complaining 12 I hope to see you back soon! 1"

Manga Studio, eh...? That does sound interesting. I might look into it...

This is a lovely piece of work Maite! She looks so...happy! ^.^ I love the sketchiness of it all, and the colours - a nice touch with the shading too - airbrush? You've gotta love them. Great pose - perhaps a background of sorts would go nicely here? Though I can't really talk...

Great job Maite! This makes me smile. ^-^ Have a cheese!

:-) Maite A. le Loux replies: "Hiya! Thank you so much for that lovely comment! It made me all warm and fuzzy inside <3 And the cheese is nice too! I've not done anything special with the shading, so that must be the way it turned out or something, but nothing out of the ordinary! And for the background, I'd really like a background, but I've no idea what to do without making it look silly.. Hmmm.. Any suggestions? *offers homemade chocolate chip cookies* And Manga studio is indeed quite nice 1 Apparently the sketchy lines make people like it.. Weird.. 10"

Perhaps because it's different...most manga style pictures seem to be drawn with plain black outlines, so this is a refreshing change. =)

I had something like pillars and greenery in mind when I said background. I guess I'm going by her dress when suggesting something like a palace? (Type thing...) A fine balcony, or corridor perhaps? But it's your drawing - and entirely up to you.

*eats cookies* Cheers Maite!

:-) Maite A. le Loux replies: "Hmmmm, you're right about the style, I guess it is a little different than what people are used to. I have a very strange way of drawing I suppose 1 Good plan with the pillars and greenery! I shall think about it some more and work on it when I can be arsed, thank you for the tips 1"

Hey, thanx for commenting on my gallary, yours is great, i like this pic alot, especially (did i spell that right?) the way you drew the dress, your drawings are all very manga-ish, which is why i like them so much, keep it up,
^-^

:-) Maite A. le Loux replies: "Thanks 1 Yep, properly spelt! I usually didn't draw too manga-ish, but on the computer it's so much easier to draw manga eyes 12 If I ever get to chance to put back drawings on pencil and paper you might actually see some more proper realistic works 2 Although I like the manga too much to finish with it entirely 12Thanks for commenting, have a cookie!"

Wow great job on her dress! Hee hee and I like her expression

:-) Maite A. le Loux replies: "Thank you! Yeah, I thought the expression was probably the cutest thing to put in her face, rather than just open eyes and a closed mouth. I'm so glad you like her dress 1"

I mean... O_O

*attempts to duplicate original comment*

Nice picture... the shading of her dress is good, and I love her hair... weee... okay, this isn't working, but thats still true.

Oh, I said something about her expression too... well, you did well at that. Something I can't do, certainly.

:-) Maite A. le Loux replies: "Thank you for the lovely (proper, sort of, yet duplicated) comment! I'm glad you like the picture 1 Although it's very embarassing for me that everyone seems to like the very first one I did the best; it seems I'm not making much progress *giggles* Anyway, thanks for the comment! *hugs and cookies*"

O_O?! It ate my comment!! *shakes fist at the comment system*

:-) Maite A. le Loux replies: "How rude! I shall give it a good slapping for you! *runs off to do so*"
