SciFi and Fantasy Art Elven Cleric by Clinton M. Swank

This was originaly going to be my cleric Therien but She came out looking a bit to old, and kind of un-elven. I have also tried to evade the 'Classic Clint' form. I have already added a corcet that might be a lot more supportive, as opposed to wrappings. wearing chain mail can realy accelerate the 'aging process'. As for corcet vs. wrappings for support I can only guess which would be better. If anyone knows which would be more practical please let me know. Tell me what you think. Is anything wrong with this pic?

20 Aug 2002	Laura M. Wilson	Loading... Hmmm. The cloak, and all the clothes, actually, are excellent. They have a very nice, comfortable looking design, and she looks right wearing them. However, her face looks a little unfinished compared to the rest of the picture. To make her look more typically elven you might want to make her face less round, give her more almond shaped eyes, etc. Clinton M. Swank replies: "thanks but ive worked on this pic enough when i draw another i think im just going to take it down i dont realy like it anywho."
27 Aug 2002	Natalie Paquette	Loading... I think she's beautiful - and the rendering you've done is very clean, with excellent contrast and shading. You've got great detail in her clothing (something I'm usually too lazy to do). I think the only thing that looks 'off' on this piece is that her eyes look a little ... high on her face. If you just lowered them a smidgen she'd be without flaw. Clinton M. Swank replies: "Thank you. You realy know how to leave a comment that is useful and makes me feel good."
5 Sep 2002	Gina Schroeder	Loading... ooh! I likes! I love the way her cape drapes. (yah I have to be the dork that brings up something like that... -) She's really cute tho. The only thing that strikes me as weird, is that her eyes are kind of close together. I know that hers are a lot bigger than standard issue human ones, but still, eyes should be one eye width away from each other. Other than that, tho, this is excellent! One of the best in your gallery! Clinton M. Swank replies: "Thanks for the comment, I cant stand this drawing at all Im not going to draw anything more on it, its in the way back of my folder and i dispise looking at it. People like it so i keep it up. Its an older piece and ill probably just doctor it on the computer, to satisfy every one. since this version of the drawing doesnt exist anymore... heh heh"

10 Dec 2003	Moose the anonymous rock	Loading... it is good but the face... the eyes and the face in general are too wide, she looks chubby. Also the hands are far too small. Sorry, but I attempt at constructive criticism, but it generally begets me rude remarks.

18 Aug 2004	Eowynelf	Loading... I think her eyes are too big... maybe more shading on the face? I really don't know. I love the rest of it though, but the face does seem a little different compared to the rest of her.
