Melanie Day / Fanart picture 3 of 6 / Hisoka and Gon
  | Mm. New favorite anime of the week is Hunter X Hunter, new favorite bishie: Hisoka. So I've been drawing him insane in insanely large amounts. Since I went home after break, I was able to scan a few, and I like this one, so I'm uploading it. I know how Elfwood hates it when you use picture references, so I did this one completely out of my head. Yay!! But that also means I got a lot of things wrong... No.... So if anyone who knows HXH says 'But that's not how his shoes go...', or 'That's not quite how his legs are...', or 'Wow, you wouldn't think that Gon would be nearly as tall as Hisoka...', well, sorry :P But I think it came out pretty well despite that. I'm much better at drawing anime when I know what they look like before I start. Still, things I hate about this pic: Hisoka's posture is wrong, his arms are weird looking, his shoes didn't come out right, Gon is nearly as tall as him, he is holding Gon quite far out, and Gon looks more like he's standing on air then being held anyway. Of course, I accept any other criticisms too |
