  | my own design....here its modeled on Onyx even though she very VERY rarely uses it...though Sar (her brother) does. <p> The 'claws' are literal, they belong to Onyx the blackish red = hardened blood and darkness (living shadows in a sense) (Onyx is a vera special vampire) it wraps around the body in a mist like form then solidifies completly...the closest thing I could even begin to think would describe how it works would be the Witchblade but that's only in close proximity...considering Wolverine and Spyke (from X-Men Evolution copywrighted to Fox and Marvel)...can be used to describe it too. <p> Anyway the REALLY large spike coming out of the back of the forearm is retractable and if it breaks off the broken shaft reforms itself on the armour almost instantaiously. |
