| 27 Apr 2002 | Debra L Kilman | Loading...I'll be back, I'm still reading. Some of your writing will come into it's own as you gain life experience. You seem to have quite a few irons in the fire without completing anything. That can become a life-long habit... (I speak from experience!) I'd like to see you focus and tweak one of these stories into completion. It's very easy to "write like we speak" but that doesn't always make it easy for other readers. Not everyone is from the same part of the country as we are. Slang and such for a particular character is good, but not for the writing technique itself. That's distracting. You don't have a whole lot of that, but I can see it forming. And there IS such a thing as too much description. Terry Brooks described things half-to-death in the first part of his Shanara series. BORING! Nuff said. I like Clara Riddle. Let me know if you ever decide to write more.Mweee! Thanks for the tips, and it was very helpful. Everything you're reading here is FAR from recent work, and I can only hope my newer stuff is much better. Unfortunatly, I can't put much of it up on here because it's either fanfic, too highly rated, or just not pertaining to fantasy or scifi So to see more http://fanfiction.net/profile.php?userid=154927 ^_^ | |
| 8 May 2002 | Negative Space | Loading...Your writing could definitely be improved. You seem to wander of your subject at times, and there's nothing to keep the reader interested; I found it hard getting through The Legend of Clara Riddle. Try and focus your work and make it more interesting. All right! Thanks for the tips | |
| 28 Jun 2002 | Avis 'Dragonfriend' Langcaster | Loading...OMG! SHINGA! ::glomp:: I didn't know you had writing here, too! When are you gonna put Black Angel up here? It MUST be up here! I demand it! Its too good for it NOT to be up here. ^_^ And more stuff! More stuff!!!!!!*is glomped* ACK! Er. Hi Dragon And I'm not sure if I will. It might not be approved or anything, so I guess FictionPress will have to do for now. ^_^;; I'll try to write more stuff to go up here. I'm workin' at it! | |

| 1 Jan 2006 | Lee Josephs | Loading...I just read 'Blood One' and found it very emotionally powerful. Having just scanned the titles of your other stories I have a feeling there'll be a similar kind of emotional power to those as well. I will check - if only to prove myself wrong | |
| 27 May 2008 | Tayla Waterworth | Loading...You write the most incredible stories, and yet you’re also such a talented artist. I loved "Blood One" as well as your pictures of the Black Angel. Absolutely amazing work. | |
