| 22 Mar 2008 | Omid *Elementwarrior* Redjaian | Hmmm...when will there come the next parts to accidental angel and enter the vampire???? o.o? Mandy E. Burnham replies: "Heya Omid. ^_^ It’s been a while since I’ve had a chance to do much writing, but I have a ticket in the queue with an update for AA and a completion for the vampire tale. Thanks!" | |
| 22 Apr 2008 | Twyla "Aidyla" Bendyna | Hi. You’re a pretty good writer I’ve been enjoying your work, can’t wait for more to a couple of your stories to come out.
sorry, tried but can’t get into a couple of your stories not that they aren’t good, just if I can’t read something I can’t read it. I’ll start to read, and if I start skipping paragraphs I know it isn’t catching my interest....and I started to skip paragraphs in some of your stories...please don’t be offended it’s not you! just me and what I like to read and I definitely like the way you write Mandy E. Burnham replies: "Thanks for saying I’m not a hack ^_~. I’m glad you enjoy [some of] my work. And don’t worry about not liking it all. There are several positive ways I can take this, and I’m choosing to do so (especially since you went out of your way to tell me not be offended. ^_^ I’m not by the way. I don’t expect ANYone will like ALL my stuff. I’m just happy when SOMEone likes ANY of it! Cheers!"

I’ve missed you and wondered how you were doing and sigh. So I hope this is you! I’ll check back later today to see... I hope so cause if not then this post seems rather silly. Mandy E. Burnham replies: "Oh Heavens!!! Sara?? Sara as in Sara Sara? Did your last name once upon a time (or still) rhyme with ’house’???? Yes I did live in Suffolk, and YES I have been looking for and missing a friend of mine from then named Sara... Is it you? Is it really you?"

| 23 Apr 2008 | Heidi Hecht | Yo! I so like seeing old friends meet up. Talking about old friends, are we going to see Baldric again? I miss him. Mandy E. Burnham replies: "I know! Isn’t it great? Yeah... about Baldric... he has flat out refused to appear unless I (and I quote) "stop writing such mindless swill that doesn’t make [him] sound like a weak and whining furball!" So until he forgives me, I’m going to have to say it’ll be awhile. " | |
| 24 Apr 2008 | Heidi Hecht | Yeah I hope he forgives you soon. Be sure to give him a hug from me if you can do it without getting clawed. Mandy E. Burnham replies: "Ha ha ha. Hugs aren’t a problem. He’s a big softy. Thanks for the devotion, Heidi. It means a lot to both of us. I think that alone may bring him around soon ^_~ I’ll try, but alas, no promises, my friend." | |
| 13 May 2008 | Cecily ´SLWS´ Webster | I will probably be dead of exammage the next two-three days, my computer’s developed epilepsy and I’m due on a dig soonish but! I leave pawprints here, many pawprints, because I know I want to read more of yours and you are on my Less Sinister List. [stomps about the entire clearing with her shoes off until she’s satisfied] Just let me know if there’s anything in particular hat’s lonely/in want of feedback, for Constructive Crit. is What I Do. [sniz] and I seem to have come down with the Random Captials. Mandy E. Burnham replies: "I totally hear the death by exammage. Grrr. I’m sure you’ll be brilliant though. I am a little curious about this ’dig’ you mentioned. Like an excavation? I’m also a little curious about this Less Sinister List ^_^
As far as what to read... well it’s longer, but the Terra Incognita three-parter hasn’t seen much ’action’. I guess. You may like it... I went to your page... have I really never read any of your stuff? How ’bout some direction for me there as well? Anything you want my spin on?"
| 15 May 2008 | Cecily ´SLWS´ Webster | [has finished exam and trying to forget about it] Ach, I’m smart, not academic. The worst under-achiever in the higher class, you know? Yes, I’m an archaeologist. [waves mattock happily] We’re strange creatures. It’s the dicipline with the highest rate of committal to asylums of founding fathers, I put this down to having to be a bit weird to get excited over little bits of really old pots. I’m a bone geek myself, though. They’re so pretty...ah. [holds up two lists] Sinister List and To Read list.
Nono, you read Double-Soul-Cross, this is how I found you again - you left me a nice useful comment then another apologising for being useful, I was mildly bemused...read only what you want to read, I implore you, and don’t feel obliged. [will recommend if pressed, but only if reassured repatedly that it’s real interest rather than politeness, because she’s not polite like that herself]
