SciFi and Fantasy Art Brangwen by Mandy ´Fay´ Vissering

While bumming around the Woods one day I discovered that Elfwood is severly lacking in Katherine Kerr/Deverry inspired pictures! You can count all the existing ones on both hands, really. So I thought I'd contribute.... Here is Brangwen, one of those souls at the beginning of the knot of Wyrd the Deverry series concerns itself with. If her name doesn't ring a bell, I'll tell you that one of her future incarnations is Jill. :) Brangwen was betrothed to Galrion and destined to learn the dweomer, but...oh, blargh. Just read the books yourself. I tried to make her look kind of frail, almost sickly, like she is when Galrion rescues her. Yeah.

You've certainly captured the despair I'm sure Brangwen would have been feeling at this time. I always imagined her a bit rounder faced, and feminine, but great feeling and emotion here. Well done ^_^
