:-) Manuela Hoflehner replies: "Thanks! I don't do a lot of fanart, mainly because I feel like I have to do something special with the characters and not just let them pose. So when I bring myself to do some, there is most of the time more thought behind."

I'm male w/long hair but I probably have more resemblance to Perrin Abbrya than any Anime Character. Perhaps you could do Anime renditions of your fave WOTC personalities? Anyway keep up the good work your very talented. 12

:-) Manuela Hoflehner replies: "Anime renditions by myself are -very- unlikely. I like watching and reading anime and manga, but when drawing I prefer realism. Probably I'll do some realistic WoT - character portraits. I like Moiraine =)"

Very nice work. .... Oh yes, I've read a couple R.A Salvatore books. Pretty good... Well keep up with the drawings and "scetches" they are very good.

omg! i LOVE your taste for guys!!!....i personally have never read any of R.A.Salvatore's work...nut i have a friend who keeps me up to date with his stories(i too am hopelessly in love with Drizzt/Inuyasha/Kenshin!)

:-) Manuela Hoflehner replies: "It's just a pity that men like that don't exist in real life. Would be great ... a bit cruel perhaps, because all of them suffer a lot in their stories, but still. It would brighten my day to see them ^^"

Hello there all you lovers of drawing, i really thought there wasnt people so much into this as i am, i guess here in spain, at least in my region, most people feal too old for it. Im not sure if you mention Luis Royo who is by the way my favourite. Hope to contact with people like and maybe eaven exchange stuff. Big hugg and all the best for 2005 ;D

:-) Manuela Hoflehner replies: "I'm also a fan of Royos fantasy artword, so it might well be I mentioned him somewhere here. There aren't that many people into fantasy here, either, but I'm not sure if they feel too old or if they just don't like the genre. I guess you either love it or hate it, with a couple of shades of grey in between. The people who don't like seem to become more tolerant, though, which is nice. Or maybe that's just my impression because I am usually only around my friends who are into fantasy as much as I am 12"

I really like your work. Especially the one of the Sandman and Yoda. I don't think I've ever seen anyone who could create a convincing Yoda picture (the wrinkles are the hard part for me).

:-) Manuela Hoflehner replies: "Painting wrinkles is fun, once you figure out how to do them somewhat decently. I actually now prefer painting and looking at (painted) people with some hints of wrinkles, because they make the faces look more realistic. Gives a nice change to the all-smooth covergirls that you see in the Fantasy field."
