Hello Mark. I'm finally an Elfwood artist. If you remember I left a comment under the name of "Steven; a fan of sci-fi art" before you closed your gallery to non-Elfwood commenters. I just passed the test a few days ago and I got my user name and password finally set. I uploaded seven pictures for the Mods to review. Hopefully if there's no objections my gallery should be up by the end of next week. Just to let you know most of my art will be digitally altered photos of plants, animals or other objects. I love sci-fi and I used Microsoft Picture It 7.0 to make some plants look like space monsters, demons and organic spaceships. I won't be doing people , though, due to copywrite issues. And I still can't hold a pencil still enough to do freehand drawing anymore so I think the digital Photo-art will be my path for future artwork. Anyways, I was wondering if you've had any progress on those story descriptions I sent you a while back. You can either answer me here or just send me an email to sales@deepdesertent.com . Remember, no pressure, just curious as to how you're doing.

Mark, You have many really good pieces here and obviously a very vivid imagination. Way too many to comment on each but I hope to see more of your work soon.

:-) Mark Perez replies: "I actually have you on my favorites list. Gonna have to put you up on the list I have here."

Mostly naked women, black and white art, now this is MY kind of gallery! ...Well, it's a little like my own gallery, but your work is better. Rock on, brother!

:-) Mark Perez replies: "Thanks. I took a look at your gallery. Gotta say I love the line art man."

Had a nice long stroll through your gallery, Mark 2
You have some wonderful work here and I look forward to see more from you soon. Perhaps some Eberron pic's? 1

Cheers!

:-) Mark Perez replies: "My group has actually been playing in the Eberron setting for a little under a year now. I have some nice drawings of their characters but I'm not really willing to put any up any pencil work anymore. If I can get some of them done in color (via photoshop) I just may put them up."

:-) Mark Perez replies: "If you draw and paint you should consider putting some of your stuff up on Elfwood."

Had a good long look at your gallery - I love the humour and pathos you inject into many of your drawings - the inking is spectacular and really accurate, great anatomy and persepctive, very enoyable. I hope to see more of your work soon, as I am sure it will inspire my own view of fantasy - maXine 1

:-) Mark Perez replies: "Why thank you very much Maxine. I love comments like this, it inspires me to do more art work."

Thankyou heaps for such a warm welcome, you would not believe how it lift my spirit, I was getting so dishearted because no one commented that I stoped checking and today is first day I had a look. I also stoped painting for awhile to but after your great comment I think I will lift my paint brush tonight big *hugs*

:-) Mark Perez replies: "Art is all about freedom of expression, and I believe that if you have it... you should express. So don't stop drawing 2"

I only have a few things to say. First you have talent you really do, but you just need to work on a few things. First your female forms are a little stiff, you'll want to work on the angles that you draw your characters at, that might help. Second, you'll want to watch your proportions. Also I've learned that sometimes just a hint of muscle on a woman is all you need to convey strength. A lot of that comes through with the way you posture your characters. I also wanted to say that I truly like many of your pieces, they just need a little tweaking. I hope you don't take this for flaming, just trying to give a lil help. Take care and good luck with your future artwork.

Hey Mark this is one of my favorites gallery. You draw exactly as I want to draw. You choose themes exactly as I want to choose themes. I am very envious with your gallery.
Stay tune Mark and upload more masterpieces like that!!!
