Hi! I'm Maria, and, well, I love to read and hence to write. I'm very into the idea of 'poetic liscense' and that punctuation is there to aid the written words, not the other way around: which has led, of course, to several disagreements with my Language Arts teacher, but life goes on!
Some of my favorite authors (who, naturally, I fully recommend!) are Diana Wynne Jones, Gordon R. Dickson, J.K. Rowling (yes, I'm an avid Harry Potter fan), Patricia McKillip, Robin McKinley, Brian Jacques, Juliet Marillier, and many hundreds more. They all inspire me, and I love them to death.
Besides reading and writing, I spend my time dancing, playing the piano and violin, and swimming. I'm a freshman in highschool, and am extremely proud of the fact that I made varsity for my school's swimteam last fall :) Huzza!!
