I'm curious about the elf types in your gallerie, is it a game, or particular author that you baise this type of elf off, or are they your own creation?

:-) Marietta Buck replies: "They're sorta of a mix of my ideas based off of fairy tales when I was little. So they're not too typical. **sigh** I really really need to write...I hate writing, but I think it would help people see where my ideas come from."

This is a really great gallery - I love the whole 'Roman' stylings to a lot of the drawings. You're really good at painting the scene. Once you see the picture you really know what's going on with the characters.

I really like your style. You have a wonderful blend of realistic and stylization. Honestly I feel you are one of the most promising artists I have run across here in the wood. Please let me know when you post if you do that sort of thing I really want to see where your work goes from here. You are already good I think you are going to be GREAT. I really love the style of your work. It seems very sketchy, but it looks so complete. It's like book art, like I could see your style of art on so many covers of scifi or fantasy novels! Amazing! Keep up the fantastic work!
