SciFi and Fantasy Art Return of Poseidon by Marcus ´KAMO´ Olausson


	Oil on paper. Took a veeeery long time. Too bad I have to show it this small size. Makes it hard to see the details. There will be more oil-work later on. I think this is the first time I´ve tried to paint water. I don´t think the result was so bad.

6 Oct 2001	Caldruin	Loading... Hmm. I like this pic. For some reason it makes me think of Atlatnis. Probably because Poseidon was Atlantis's main god... Do you know about Atlantis? Could you do a pic of it? Something like the ruins of a city under the water...
18 Oct 2001	The Artist	Loading... Actually I have made a picture of atlantis, at least sort of, but I need to get my hands on a scanner. Hopefully I will put it up within a month or two.
14 Apr 2002	Marissa	Loading... Very nice. Although, I think that Poseidon could have been bigger or up higher. He IS the god of the ocean so I think it would make more sense for him to be visually more "powerful".

5 Oct 2002	Siren	Loading... You know, this is a really late comment, but I just loooooooooooooooove mythology soooooooooo incredibly much that I have to say something about it anytime I see it... Well, anyway, I love this picture. It depicts the god so well. And its just so perfect...I wish I could draw that well! Only two things...Poseidon didn't have a fish tail, but his son, Triton, did. It doesn't matter, though. The second thing is that Triton would be on the conch, but that doesn't matter, either. And I love to two females...I have a strong feeling that they are mermaids or Nereids or Oceanids. stares at the picture, wondering
