||The product of an absurdly rare (albeit natural) mutation, he started his vigilante career in his early teens. As is typical of teenagers, he got in over his head. He ran afoul of a crime lord when he exposed a drug smuggling route. To teach the young freak a lesson, he cut out the boy's eyes with a straight razor and left him to wander the streets. Over time, left without his sight, his mind sharpened. His consciousness expanded beyond his body and he was able to 'feel' the world about him. Even though he still could not see, he now instinctively knew the locations of nearby objects and people and could react accordingly. Focusing his mental essence into his hands, he now had a weapon with which he could fight. By the time he reached his 28th year, he was five times as competent a fighter as he had been with his sight. Now, he can be found wandering the skies at night once again. More cautious, more wise, he now hunts organized crime with a passion that borders on madness, exacting his own brand of vengeance.|
