Everything is so clean and polished in your gallery, it feels like you really spend quality time on all of it! Very lovely! Oh, and I am sixteen and live in Cananda too! Except the other end of the country, it looks like! Margaret Perrie replies: "Thanks! *hands you a cookie* I think I'm almost closer to Ireland than I am to BC...weirdness, man! That's what we get for living in a big country. " | |
| 10 Nov 2005 | Ajder Andrei | Thank you so mouch for stoping by my gallery and living some CC... I apreciated it... I see that your own art is preatty good too... my only souggestion is that you could try to work a bit on backgrounds... other then that... I think your art is good... thanks again for stoping by my gallery... Margaret Perrie replies: "Thanks! Yeah, backgrounds are one of my stumbling blocks. Often I just find that I'm just too lazy to do a background--I gotta put more effort into this stuff. The other thing is, sometimes I can't figure out how to plan for a background...huh...I'll work on it though. ^-^ Thanks for stopping by!" | |
| 26 Dec 2005 | Stephanie J. Gerrits | Haloo Margaret!! *takes spyglass away from eye and waves like a maniac from the ship coming to shore* Nice to finally find you back after all this time. *starts to sputter* Thanks for stopping my place, hope you can comment on my stories sometime. I recommend Convict and My Heart, a Flame. Cya later! *drops chocolates and sweeties to all and sundry as the skyship takes to the air and flies off in the direction of the setting sun* Yes, I know my actions are too long, but they're more fun that way. Margaret Perrie replies: "*pats you on the head* I agree, long actions are much more fun. I read My Heart, a Flame (as you know, yup yup) and will go read the convict as soon as I get a chance. See ya Sunday, most likely. *gives extra-big cookie for an extra-special girl* Btw, I just added a link to you on my page." | |
| 19 Apr 2006 | John L. Delannoy | I really like your drawings. The mer-guy is cool too. johnd- jensen beach Margaret Perrie replies: " Thanks! Er, "johnd-jensen beach"? What's that?" | |
| 24 Jun 2006 | Tjin | Neat, i like your art (And sorry about not letting you be first reviewer... on the plus side it did help me find your amazing work.) Hope to see more soon. -Tjin Margaret Perrie replies: "Hiya! 'Tis ok, Jessica's my sister, so we really do all our commenting off-computer, and everything we post on Elfwood is redundant. But I did so want to be the first on her gallery. Ah, well. Anyways, enjoy your stay!" | |
| 25 Oct 2006 | Cahirarjaeis | Wandered a little through your portion of the woods... You have an original style that I really don't see much of (that's a good thing). Perhaps you'll get a chance to visit my humble plot in the forest? RJS Margaret Perrie replies: "Sure, of course I'll visit you!...as soon as I finish all my term projects, that is. Soonish." | |
| 18 Dec 2006 | Barbara J. Wickham | I enjoyed going thru your gallery very, very much and your style is wonderful. It makes me think of book illustration with the expressive characters and the thoughtful details. I love how you explore so many different ways to color your pics and I'm sure you'll continue to improve by leaps and bounds! Thanks for visiting my gallery! Margaret Perrie replies: "Thanks! Actually, I do hope to illustrate books sometime in the future, so it's good you think that's what it looks like. Thanks again for commenting and visiting!" | |
| 15 Jan 2007 | Erin E. Johnston | 'Lo. I like your prettyful art. Especially the way you draw eyes... so soulful and expressionate. And I have found yet another person who's self-portrait looks freakishly like me.... >.> Margaret Perrie replies: "Thanks! Yeah, the brown-ponytail-and-glasses look...pretty common 'round these parts, eh?" | |
| 25 Jan 2007 | Stephanie J. Gerrits | Alas, my friend, needs must that I tell you about my misfortunes...I've cleared my Elfwood site, for now...so sad, *sniff*... To combat the depression I had to come and look at your cheerful pics (I especially liked your two new ones, the white and red mermaid is beautiful!!) and I again overawed at your talent!! (Why didn't you go to art school, darling? What a terrible shame...) Well I'll let you know when I'm back on, which will probably be once this school year is over...*sniffles a little* *trudges off with heavy workload on back* Keep pushing that pencil!! Margaret Perrie replies: "Aw, what tragedy. But hey, school's nearly done now, so you can join up again soon! ...Oh art school...parhaps after I finish this degree...so then I can be a starving artist/writer...But I plan to get there eventually." | |
