Tag As FavoriteComment		King Enkil, from Anne Rice's wonderful Vampire Chronicles Novels (the first three anyway...). I'm planning to do a series of portraits inspired from her novels, and this is one of the first. This one is fully completed, but it will be one day...when inspiration strikes again. 100% graphite on heavyweight sketch paper.

Nice... I haven't read any of the books, but I have been considering it for a long while. Right now, I'm keeping with Anne McCaffrey though. heh. Anyway, I like your style. VERY realistic! Beautimous.

This is stunning! I've read the majority of the vampire chronicles and this is a very acute representation of Enkil! Perhaps a portrait of Akasha might come into the picture soon?
