Cool, I'm not only the first one to see this (the real thing) but also the first to comment on this. People out there, Maria took a lot of time doing this so take warning. If you insult this I will personally hunt you down and yell at you 'till your ears fall off. Ask Maria, she's heard me on the soccer field and the court, she knows how loud and nasty I can get

I like! The storm in the back makes it real intense looking. Also, the location of the lightning bolt adds to the unicorn, i think, cause it highlights the horn on its head. I like!

I like the background,..........ah but I for one am toooooooooo lazy to use paints, that's Michael's speciality! ;-D

Whoa! Painted? Really? Well done. Very well done Maria! The tension and desperation of the situation is palpable. Very good composition and an excellent painting. You even have the spots on it's neck. The bright highlights caused by the lightening and the wave crest really help structure the image.

I love the lighting and the details of the picture, but I don't get the "Vagueness" of it. It seems pretty straight forward!

There is something very innocent yet thought provoking in this picture. Coming from an area surrounded by raging seas its amazing to see how you have captured the storm beautifully without taking away from the unicorn
