SciFi and Fantasy Art A Little Comfort by Jennifer M. Black


	A drawing to accompany a story I am surrently writing about Aphrodite and her oft-overlooked husband, Hephaestus. In this scene, Aphrodite's latest mortal lover has died and she is rather distraught. Her scorned husband, the lame god of the forge, is about to offer his comfort, but he fears rebuke.

20 Jun 2003	Anonymous	Loading... Okey. I first have to say that I really like the pic. but there are two things that anoyes me. The ears of youre drawings,. theyre all too big and right-out..reminds me off a sad bunny.. and his hand.. his fingers looks wierd. everybody should have a little critic once in a while. but i really like the drawings u do. Jennifer M. Black replies: "This is one of my older pics... before I got my pointy ears just right. Now I only make them really big if I'm drawing Rose or if it's supposed to be an exaggerated picture (like te Middle Earth Kids series)."
21 Jun 2003	Nina	Loading... hey i have to say that i really love this picture and finally actually know whos being drawn because in other art works i have absoultly no idea who this preson or that person is....but anyways Hephaestus was thrown from the cloud for being weak by this mother hera and then he made a chair or throne and offered it too his mother (hera) and when she sat in it it trapped her in it and the only way he'd let her go was if he got to marry Aphrodite. sry about all that (i had to tell someone!lol) but i really love all the details and the ears add charater i really like them it adds to the mood
