Cute, but too many jokes are made about Pippin's appetite, which isn't necessarily any bigger than any other hobbits', he just complains about it more. Your other pics in this series are more original. I still like how violated Merry looks, though.

Not as clever as most of your series, which to this point have not had to rely on the ever-relied-on Very Secret Diaries for humor, even if there have been references. To above: Merry is eight-ish years Pippin's senior, so when Pippin's a wee lad, Merry isn't necessarily a one as well.

Hmmm... Here's a suggestion, when drawing the hand holding the carrot, make the fingers of the hand more visible because he looks like he's holding it backwards, and use a lighter pen/pencil for the eyebrows, and make the adult hobbit a tad bit smaller, it makes him look like he's the size of a human!
