A steampunk/cyberpunk-influenced cyborg thing.  I'm not "with" the sci-fi lingo ;). 

A pixel piece, each pixel placed individually :)  12 colours

Done for a Pixelation activity; completed late 2007; pixelled in Photoshop

Creepy-cool! I love the mask and how it looks with the mechanical body. The hair is very well done.

I love the mood of this one. It's surprisingly chilling and I think the pretty mask/face makes it even more so.

The color gives this an "antique" appearance that reminds me of the classic horror movies, when they knew how to really scare audiences in a sophisticated way. Not like todays cheesy horror movies at all. *sigh*

I must say I am particularly impressed by the filterered light in the background. It's a fairly simple part of the picture, I suppose, but one that many would probably overlook when using this particular technique. Well done!
