Rubbish title I know but I couldn't think of anything better. This was painted with acrylics then enhanced on computer. I tried a technique when I was painting it of blurring the whole thing by dragging a piece of card across it. It was meant to create movement, but I've only uploaded the top half of the pic. Let me know if you like it and I'll upload the whole thing.

very, very, very, very cool. Love the drag effect!

1 Mariana L Pinnell replies: "thank you! I hoped the dragging would work and not just look like a big mess!"

WOw thats awesome! I love the blue all around her that's very cool, and the contrast between the yellows and the blues is gorgeous. Veryvery kewl.

:-) Mariana L Pinnell replies: "to be honest those yellows and blues were probably a result of me dragging the card across, but hey, another experiment that works! I think i'm going to try it with oil paint next time."

Love it. Love the blue glow, love the dragging, love the shine... Absolutly lovely.

:-) Mariana L Pinnell replies: "Thamks, i'm glad you like it cos i don't think it's one of my best pieces, I do a lot of blurring with paint and I think i'd only just started experimenting with this one!"
