Just wanted to compliment you on the musculature that you mentioned. That's impressive. I hadn't noticed it at first, but you can tell that slim or not, he's no weakling.

<laughs> At first I was going to say that he looked rather unhappy and almost scared looking - then I looked again and realized he was doing the Spock Eyebrow! <chuckles> I got the female impression too (I think it's the lips...), but mostly the impression was that the elf was pretty young (and thus no real way of determining girl/boy differences)and on his own (I think I got that from the narrow shoulders and the rough fringe). And I bow in respect to your attempt at drawing what I humbly think it THE hardest position for arms - crossed. <shudders in rememberance of her own attempts at that particular pose). Hmmm... I think the chin needs to be more pointy (although at the angle his head's at, 'tis a judgement call). You also might want to consider making the eyes - or at least the irises - smaller; generally anime males have narrower eyes than females. And I can sympathize with you on the whole gender-confusion thing... <looks mournfully at some of the comments on HER drawings>

I love the expression on her face and altho it would be kool colored...I love it this way already!

He's rather androgynous, but the expression is GREAT! By the way... who said girls can't have musculature? I have bigger biceps than a guy friend of mine has calves. Of course, he's a rather skinny guy, but my muscles are more defined than most of my friends, both male and female. (And no, I am NOT a bodybuilder! I take karate!)
