Yep, I got a name for this charactor, and I think I finally have a theme I'll be working with for a while. I'll develop creatures into the way they might look if they were evolved kind of like humans. But get this strait...they will NOT be humanoid animals or humans with slight animal features, I plan to have them be the midarea for that. The way they might look if they evolved larger brains, walked on hind legs, and started wearing clothing. I'm entering this into a contest that has us do postcard sized artwork. I hope this does well. :)

Beatyfull colorwork on this one. Did you use coloured pencils? I wouldn't mind to get a postcard looking like this ^-^. The folds in the clothes are so well made. Yeah, I used a color pencil set I got to use from my Art Portfolio class. I was really hoping to get a prize for this. Mainly because it would've been nice to have 100 good copies of it.. ^_^

i think she looks wonderful like someone we might meet on some world somewhere... this is the concept that first attracted me to the idea of 'furries' to me it is the most believable also the most attractive - ... I agree with the attractive part of aliens on another world...but not with the most believable. To me...the most alien creature on out planet is the Octopus. Although that is a bit tricky to get reference pictures of and draw.

I love your details! Beautiful coloring work, and wonderful evolved animal. The string of slain rabbits is a VERY nice touch! I hope you win, too! I tend to draw my furries in a similar style to yours. Although, they don't always wear clothes, they are never indecent. I didn't win...oh well. I wouldn't have minded having 100 copies of this! The colors in real life are much nicer. The background behind the chractor with the trees blends better and is brighter while the reds blend into each other instead of seeming like separated lights and darks.

Your right there, the first vershion came out better. Ho Hum! If your getting into animal personification, try the Redwall books by Brian Jacques, which follow the lives of an abbey and the surrounding county side. The first books call Redwall oddly enough. Hmmm... sounds interesting.

This is great! Once upon a time I created my own world with my own creatures and developed an ecology- and evolution-plan for them. The character looks like it can leave the picture any moment, or you can dive into that world in just a sec. very nice!

Wow... impressive! For some reason it looks extremely familiar, though... ah well. She looks dangerous. Kudos for a job extremely well done!

Neat idea, hope to see the others (if you've done others).
Like the coloring and detail, great work!
