My name is supposed to read Marissa “Sophie Kalypso” von Krosigk, but for some reason I can’t update it to that…anyway, I have a brand new printer/scanner, so I can finally bring my work up to date (I’m sort of embarrassed by the old stuff I have up now; it’s all from Middle School, and I’m almost in College…so yeah, I’ve taken three or more art classes since then, and so forth…)

Once I get updated, I will put more info here, for example I’ll probably post descriptions of characters and stuff like that.

Also, once I update, my older stuff will most likely be picked off, one by one...

Yay!

Interests
drawing, writing, reading, listening to music, biology, dreaming (day or night)... art-wise: dragons, canines/felines, vampires, anything with bird wings...
Favorite Fantasy/Scifi Movies and TV Shows
teen titans, futurama, i robot, back to the future, X-men evolution, jurassic park, pirates of the caribbean, princess bride, ghostbusters, spirited away, howl's moving castle, MIB, my best friend is a vampire, the polar express, poltergeist, interview with a vampire, pan's laberinth, pokemon, star wars, danny phantom (somethimes), ....... I can't list everything!
Favorite Fantasy/Scifi Books
Twilight books, vampire kisses books, temeraire books, maximum ride books, evernight, the host, hp books, artemis fowl books, half-human, interview w/ vampire & vampire lestat, silver kiss, hitchhikers guide books, abarat books, eragon books, prophecy of the stones, growing wings, dr franklin's island.......... I can't list everything!
Favorite Music
gorillaz, vampire weekend, beatles, shins, greenday, classic rock, other random stuff.... I can't list everything! I am on youtube.com as GorillazKalypso, if anyone's interested.

Work on anatomy, proportion, colors, and shading. I highly suggest working with just a pencil until you get these down, then start coloring them again.

You have talent, but it's rough. You need to take some classes, because I can see you have the potential! I just hate how your colored pencil lines are so streaky, and uneven, and scrathy! Try leaving something uncolored. I'd love to see it!

They're all suggesting so much... I have a suggestion, too. Your lines are quite strong and that makes your art individual and interesting, but it also makes it look random and scratchy. Don't lose them (the lines) but don't use them (that was a rhyme, yay!)as if they where plain colour. Try and make something out of it. That sounds weird, can't say it better, but I'm quite sure that'll happen anyway. Ah, and may I draw your little lizard thing? Just have to ask, it's so cute!
