Some said it was demons, some a plague. There was no bloodshed, no evidence of conflict or war. Worse yet, there were no bodies, no bones. Were the truth to be known, the wrinkled old woman who lived down on the cliff below would have been stoned as the murderious sorceress she was. There were no witnesses left to accuse her. This was all that remained of a thriving culture. Amazing the havoc that jealousy can wreak when one holds magic powers such as hers.

This picture was drawn only hours after I saw this image of an abandoned city in a dream. I'm pretty happy how close the drawing came to the image in my head. Graphite sketch 11x14 inches/27.9x35.6cm

21 Nov 2003	Margaret	Loading... Awesome, man! I've had some pretty vivid dreams which I write down to remember them so I can at least use them in a story. Creative writing is a semi-hobby for me now, and I've learned that really great art, stories, and sometimes even songs can come from what you dream at night!
