Ok, now this one is really complete. I added the rocks at the bottom a few days after finishing the figure. Usually, I do the background and the figure at the same time but I wasn't sure if I was going to do anything but the figure when I started. Here's the result. The paper was a bit different with a more pronounced tooth than the surface I use most often, but it's what I had on hand and it served the purpose pretty well. Approx. 8x10 inches.

It's true, she can be an elf; it's FANTASY! You can make an elf look like whatever you want it to. All the same, I can't help thinking she looks like a dwarf. But that's beside the point; it's still a great picture! I like the colors.

brill but i always imagined elves as havin long legs and being very very slim

:-) Mark Ivan Cole replies: "Sure; why not? I appreciate the way you made your point: that it was your imagination that summoned up an image of elves as lissome and long-legged. I have that image, too. I just chose a different one for this picture. Glad you enjoyed the effort. Thanks for letting me know!"

she looks a little bit like a Lilliputaner, because her legs are short and not really small.....

Some people can be experts on elves. All fantasy has some basis in fact. Elves were real, long ago, and it’s true. Though their height varied as much as humans, they never had curly hair. At least, none of the ones I knew did.

However, elves, like any human, could choose to curl their hair.

isn’t she a little short? she could of been a dwarf. but the outfit and the head/face are very good. Just don’t mind me, it’s just me being picky over details.1

Role playing games have opened my mind to many possibilities wood elves are shorter than high elves for example the only problem I see is what she is wearing. Not so much that I dont like what she is wearing, I mean contrary to public opinion you dont wear your work cloths or combat armour at all times.Cloths can tell you a lot about a person her cloths confuse me!! Anways enough of my ramblings nice picture diversity is a good thang12
