First of all i would like to agree with napoleone above..there is nothing wrong with a bit of constructive critism for one artist to another..but i've been blown away by some of the downright horrible thing some people have to say.... Now with all that out of the way (sorry it bugs me) he looks so wistful..i can actually see emotion in his eyes and mouth set..i think that must be so hard to do...what a wonderful job to envoke emotion in an inanimate object..GREAT job! Keep em comin! | |

| 26 Feb 2004 | Dawn | Loading...I have yet to post any of my own art here. Still browsing the galleries and finding all the treasures. This piece is truly a treasure! He seems to be remembering the days of spring and longing for them again. It creates real emotion. Is there room for improvement? When isn't there but its a magnificent piece that I for one would love to have hanging on my living room wall for ALL to admire. Good job. | |

| 11 Dec 2004 | Oonie oonagh Ryan-King | Loading...this work is powerful AND poignant. the "sinews" of "body" are also remarkable.
probably THE most powerful "thing" about this work is its ability to produce such powerful projections.
here's mine: i've never even THOUGHT of the greenman in anything other than green. as the greenman is not an evergreen, but oakish, there IS the great possibility of this mighty vulnerability of skeleton before springing leaves.
the features are multi-cultured and i really like that, too. in the small image, this work has an african quality.
bravo

| 15 Jan 2005 | Lighting-phoenix | Loading...Well done! This definitely appears to be a woodlands spirit in the autumn of his existence. Most people don't realize that the green man has autumn and winter counterparts -- it's nice to see one of them. | |
