SciFi and Fantasy Art Kasseya´s Sword by Mark Ivan Cole

I've been working in pastels recently. This one is on red paper. My natural tendency to draw details is offset by the thickness of the pastels: I simply can't put in all the fine lines I'm used to, so I have to wing it more. It's a less cerebral and meticulous process this way, more emotional. I'm happy with the results. These are fun to do. Many thanks to my lovely wife for modeling for me!
