Mountains look very weathered, of a type of hard rock, with veins of soft rock running through it. They have stood for so long that the rain has disolved much of the softer rock, leaving those beutiful ridges and spires. There definitly hasnt been an earthquake here since the mountains were thrust up by the shuddering earth, millions of years ago. | |
