When the explorers finally reached the far shore, they were greeted by the only evidence that a race of Giants had ever roamed these lands. The massive skull, now overgrown with trees and bracken, peered silently with empty eyes from the sea where this great survivor had finally breathed his last.

"Tis a pity we never saw him alive," said Balith, wistfully.

"I'm just glad he won't be picking us out from between his toes," replied Gullun.

This place (almost) exists! A little work and the skull showed up.

I love this! There is so much imagination in it. It seems like there could be a whole different world that this is in. Very well done!

I would say that is the Salt Creek recreation Area up by the Straight of Juan de Fuca. As soon as I saw this pic, I was reminded of that place..and how spooky it can be at night. 2 (even though this is a daytime picture!)

I'd say that was Trinidad, California, except that the skull shaped cave in that rock is on the other side, and half sunk.

This image makes me remember a portuguese ancient storie. Some centurys ago portuguese explorers were trying to pass trough the Cape of Good Hope, in South Africa, but it was terrible place, known as Cape of Storms, so they thought there was a monster, Giant Adamastor (Lusíadas, by Luís de Camões), who were the cause of all the disasters in the area. Love your work!
